Benefit Concert

Thursday, October 28th, 2010

Community volunteers, in partnership with The Ink People, are throwing an all-ages Halloween costume party and benefit show for Blue Ox Radio, Friday, October 29, 2010, at the Manila Community Center, from 7pm until midnight, featuring Manilapede, Mister Moonbeam, The Solitary Men and The Monster Women.

A $100 cash prize will be awarded for Best Costume, as well as other costume prizes donated by local businesses. A beer graveyard will be open to attendees 21 and over, and food and non-alcoholic drinks will be available for all.

Advance tickets are on sale now for $9, at Missing Link Records in Arcata and The Works in both Eureka and Arcata. Venue capacity is limited to 300, so advance purchase is recommended. Any remaining tickets will be $15 at the door.

Proceeds from this independent event will be donated to Blue Ox community youth radio.
