Blue Ox Radio News about “Streaming”

June 3rd, 2011

Blue Ox Youth and Community Radio 97.7 FM is dedicated to serving our local community with quality radio and community outreach.  As much of the community already is aware, we are planning on expanding our services by streaming on the web.  In the past few months, we have done several fundraisers and thanks to our generous community we have raised enough money to start the streaming process.  We are in the process of dealing with all of the technological questions and answers… then we will need to retrain all of the DJ’s on the new procedures and rules.

We hope to be streaming within the next few months. We look forward to being able to reach a broader audience by streaming and being able to share Humboldt County with the world beyond our boundaries.

Blue Ox Radio has many talented DJ’s and we are always looking to train more!!! If you or someone you know is interested in being involved in radio, come on down! We welcome new comers and will train them in all aspects of broadcasting, conducting interviews, etc.

For more information about Blue Ox Youth and Community Radio 97.7 FM, you can visit us on the web at www.blueoxradio.org or “like” us on facebook at Blue Ox Youth & Community Radio.
