Blue Ox Youth and Community Radio, KKDS-LP FM, is Humboldt County's newest radio station, broadcasting 100 Watts from our marsh-side studio at the Blue Ox Community School site in Eureka. Blue Ox Radio is made possible through a collaboration between the Blue Ox Millworks, the Dell Arte International School of Physical Theater, and the Humboldt County Office of Education. Blue Ox Radio 12th Annual May Day Living History and Artisan Faire 2014
Blue Ox Youth and Community Radio would like to invite you to attend our twelfth annual May Day Living History and Artisan Faire. This event is a fundraiser for our station.
Local bands including Tumbleweeds, Compost Mountain Boys, Sarah Torres, Good Company, Striped Pig String Band, Belles of the Levee, and many more will be performing on three stages.
New this year is Old Town Carriage Company that will be offering carriage rides!
Visiting crafts people will demonstrate Spinning & Weaving, Stained Glass, Blacksmithing, Woodworking, Printing, Ceramics, and more!
Come enjoy some Microbrew and Barbeque!
A May Pole dance will be held at noon.
Bring the whole family and spend the day.
Saturday May 3rd from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Blue Ox Historic Park, corner of First and X Streets in Eureka.
Admission is $10 per person, $9 with a food bank donation. Kids twelve and under are free.

Come celebrate craftsmanship and ancient arts and in the process have a really good time listening to local bands and eating hotdogs and chili! There will also be activities for children including puppet shows and face painting! Hope to see you there! Craftsman’s Days! The two days after Thanksgiving! It’s a great time to get Holiday gifts ~ and it supports Blue Ox Radio!
